Flickr.com

A couple of days ago, Yahoo announced that they were discontinuing Yahoo Photo Groups. A while ago Yahoo acquired Flickr and since they had acquired Flickr.com. I guess they decided that Flickr was a better bet than Yahoo Photo and did not see any need to maintain two services.

I have consequently transferred all of my photos to Flickr. It was a fortunate coincident since I had decided recently to use the Flickr service anyway, but I had not gotten around to transferring the photos.

While the photos have been transferred, the transition is far from complete. Consequently, the photo links on the blog are dead. I will get them back up as soon as possible.
