The last few days have been a blur. Too much of the time has been spent making arrangements, with hotels and internet, and money. When the internet connection is working running my office from here is not much of a problem – just the hour difference. Unfortunately today the connection is dead. It is a few minutes before 8:00 am and the hotel internet engineer will not be in until 10.

Yesterday I set out on a quest for the American Express office, never found it. I took the metro, but got off at the wrong stop. I only realized that I had gotten off at the wrong stop when I got back on the Metro and was studying the map. Anyway, the stop I got off was a large slum / market / backpacker / hippie area.
